Anywhoo... Everything has been so hectic lately. There have been a few deaths (my dear, favorite cat - Puck - whom I miss so much. I love you and I miss you buddy!) and just complicated situations. I just found out that one of my friends has cancer and she is a few years younger than me! She doesn't deserve cancer at all! In fact... NO ONE DESERVES TO HAVE CANCER! It sucks and it's horrible. She has an appointment coming up where they determine whether she is going to need radiation or not. If she does, it's gonna break her. Radiation is not fun for anyone and it's just so life consuming. I have let her know that she is NOT alone and she has a lot of people who cares about her and for her life.
Another situation is my lovely cousin. She is currently pregnant with her first child. She is married to her childhood sweetheart and they are just an awesome couple. Years ago on a missions trip to Cuba, she fell ill where the doctors in Cuba refused to treat her. They did the best they could but it wasn't enough. She was unconscious for several days. Even the airlines refused to get her on the planes but thank God they were able to come back to USA and have her be treated here. She should've died. So when I see her I just think it's a great miracle she is alive, let alone pregnant with her first. She has found out that her liver started to shut down which is harmful for the baby. There is a possibility that she might get induced earlier than expected (due date) and might have a blood transfusion! WHAT?! My cousin and my niece are going through something so tough! It's heartbreaking! I just want both mommy and daughter to be safe and out of the clear.
I just hope and pray nothing else goes wrong and if I can help, I will certainly do so. I felt Penelope Sky for the first time on Sunday. When I touched her, I felt this overwhelming power to help my cousin and my niece. I will do all that I can to help them both. They are family. My blood. The reasons of being who I am. I have to help.
If anyone wants to help too in any way, you are more than welcome to do so! Just let me know :)
